ARTIST STATEMENT I am interested in the duality inherent in all things and amazed how the micro and macro constantly avail themselves to each other. My work has forced a way of life on me that at the best of times I have not been able to explain or justify in any linear or rational way! While it is natural to be unsure about these things, I do know about the sincerity, honesty and gravity; which I approach the work. I have always had to fight my way along this crooked path that I somehow know …. but keep seeing only one sign post at a time …. it could be said that one’s life’s work is deciphering how to find that next post …. whether it lies ahead or behind consciousness. “Art is bound up in the wonderment of the looking at that known-unknown universal reservoir inside of ourselves.”
