Note: This painting depicts a white brick home built in 1870 by George and Mary Jane King Ebersole. The bricks used in the home were made on the site of the home north of Centerville, Indiana. The home was demolished when Interstate 70 was built. A letter about and period photographs of the home from the original homeowner's grandson accompanies this painting. One of the artist's top five best known and most important pictures. Original frame.
