Note: From the artist: "Located behind the Nature Center in the park, this vista includes an observation deck and amphitheater overlooking Strahl Valley. A century ago, this area was clear cut and dotted with farms. The steep hills and narrow valleys were difficult to farm and soil erosion became a significant problem. As the park was developed, CCC projects reforested the area and Strahl lake was created. The view is to the east and southeast."
