Shelby Bio

Shelby Watford serves as FADA’s Director of Administration and has been part of the Association since 2024. Prior to joining FADA, she served as Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Florida State University.

A proud FSU alumna, Shelby earned her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing in 2017. She brings a strong combination of administrative expertise, organization, and creativity to her role at FADA.

Originally from Ocala, Florida, Shelby has called Tallahassee home for the past 13 years, where she lives with her husband, Joseph, and their two cats, Winston and William. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys caring for her growing collection of plants, kayaking, reading, and catching live music whenever she gets the chance.
