Tasende Gallery is pleased to announce September 1 as the public opening date of its newly redesigned gallery. This unveiling coincides with the celebration of Tasende Gallery’s 38th anniversary and a survey exhibition featuring artists with whom the gallery has worked throughout its history. The architect for the remodel, James Alcorn of Alcorn & Benton, La Jolla, was specifically chosen for the project by Robert Mosher, the building’s original architect. The gallery space will be the first stage of the building project to be completed. Construction will be ongoing to finish the two-level, 5,700 sq. ft. ocean view portion with its ample open air spaces. Final design detail input will be provided by incoming tenant.
